For all the gamers out there thinking if the EcoFlow RIVER 2 Max would be a good fit here are my results My PC setup is PSU 850W Goldcertified Corsair CPU Ryzen 7 7800X3D GPU Radeon RX 7900 XT 20GB VRAM Monitor 1080p Since the AMD parts are known to be powerefficient I performed a test I charged the power station to 100 and connected only my PC CPU GPU etc but not the monitor to the RIVER 2 Max simulating a complete power failure by leaving it disconnected from the wall Performance Results In conditions of intense gaming like an intense boss fight in Black Myth Wukong the combined load drawn by the system was approximately 470 Watts which gave me a backup duration of 1 hour This one hour is more than enough time to finish a boss fight and safely shut down the PC in case of a power failure During idle conditions desktop or web browsing the PCs power consumption dropped to about 200 Watts In this scenario the backup duration lasted for up to 3 hours I picked this up on sale for 20000 and consider it absolutely worth the money An Important Caveat XBoost Mode Its crucial to note that the RIVER 2 Maxs stable output limit is 500 watts If your PC consistently draws above this threshold the power station will engage its XBoost mode which can handle up to 1000 watts XBoost mode is generally not recommended for sensitive electronics like gaming motherboards and graphics cards If your PC system draws significantly more than 500 watt under load it would be safer to switch to the EcoFlow RIVER 2 Pro or one of the Delta series models for higher stable wattage capacity
