After I bought and tried EcoFlows excellent Delta Pro not too long ago for our vacation home I became a fan of the companys products I previously was a firm fan of Goal Zero and Jackery and was wowed by the Delta Pros features I was curious to see how the Delta 3 would do The Delta 3s 1024Wh battery capacity how long something can run for puts it right in direct competition with the Goal Zero Yeti 1000x and Yeti 1000 Core Jackery Explorer 1000 and its own predecessor the EcoFlow Delta 2 but with one major difference Instead of using Nickel Manganese Cobalt NMC the Delta 3 uses Lithium Iron Phosphate LiFePO4 like its more powerful Delta Pro sibling There are significant differences between both Lithiumion Liion battery chemistries that I will detail later Some tips to keep in mind while Nickel Manganese Cobalt NMC or Lithium Iron Phosphate LiFePO4 is better Both are Lithiumion batteries Goal Zero and Jackery used NMC for a long time and only recently switched to LiFePO4 what EcoFlow and Bluetti had been using for some time Why use LiFePO4 today They hold some important advantages over NMC Safer less volatile and thus cheaper to manufacture Charge cycle 20005000 10 years NMC 2025 I recently purchased the EcoFlow power station and Im honestly impressed with how well it works The charging speed is incredible it goes from almost empty to nearly full in around an hour which is super convenient when Im in a hurry The battery life has also been great and it easily powers my essentials like my phone laptop small appliances and even some tools The build quality feels solid and the design is sleek not bulky like other power stations Ive tried I also love that I can connect it to solar panels and monitor everything through the app Its been extremely useful during power outages and for outdoor trips The only downside is that its a bit pricey but honestly the performance and reliability make it worth it If you need a dependable portable power station I definitely recommend this one
